Cases in the public eye.

Not every proceeding remains confined to the courtroom. Some legal questions also become the subject of public debate. Here you will find media coverage of selected matters in which I acted, together with my legal-policy engagement. Each link leads to the original source.

School law2026

Placement examination for a 13-year-old student

I represented the family of a 13-year-old student in proceedings concerning his return to the public school system and access to an age-appropriate placement examination. He was ultimately allowed to take the placement examination, which he passed successfully.

Employment law2025–2026

Monika Ring: dispute over summary dismissal

I represented Monika Ring in employment proceedings concerning her summary dismissal as a primary-school teacher. In March 2026, the Linz Higher Regional Court held that her conduct did not justify summary dismissal, while finding an ordinary termination permissible.

Administrative law2023

Representation of climate activists

I represented numerous climate activists in administrative proceedings arising from demonstrations, particularly challenges to administrative penalties and orders to reimburse policing costs. The selected coverage reflects both the legal issues and the scale of these proceedings.

Immigration law & fundamental rights2023

Anja Windl: initial phase of the BFA proceedings

In April 2023, I represented German climate activist Anja Windl during the initial phase of the BFA proceedings, when a residence-terminating measure was being examined. The matter raised questions of EU residence law as well as freedom of expression and assembly.
